Here are a few important things to keep in mind about which share type is best for you.
Share Info: Members can choose either a small, medium, or large weekly share. Bi-weekly shares are also available. A large share is based on the average needs of a family of 6 or more. A medium share for the needs of a family of 4 to 5, and a small on the needs of a family of 3 to 4. If your having trouble deciding which share size to purchase, always go with the smaller of your two choices. During the season if you find that more produce is needed you can order additional items. Included Crops: Both vegetable and fruit items may be used to customize your weekly orders through the web store. The great majority of the produce made available to you is raised by New Century CSA and our local partners Rhoads Farm. Weekly Delivery Variety: The variety of vegetables and fruits available each week will vary throughout the growing season, as crops mature at different times and for various lengths. At no point will each vegetable and fruit crop listed in the chart to the left be available at the same time due to different maturity windows. Harvest Start and End: 2025 shares: Deliveries will begin in late spring 5/20/2025 and will end 10/3/2025 (20 weeks). Customization: Each week you will receive an email from the farm stating what your share will include for that week. You will have the option to completely reconfigure your delivery for that week, or even cancel that week’s delivery. This is done through your online farm account. 2025 Share info: This subscription is for the 2025 season. The subscription includes 20 individual weeks of delivery. For any week that you schedule a vacation, your account will not be debited for a value of produce. You will be responsible for adding additional items to other weekly deliveries during the 2025 season so as to use the surplus credit in the account. Any credit that remains in your account at the end of the 2025 season will be forfeited. The credit will not be transferred to any other delivery season and will not be refunded. |

At New Century CSA, we pride ourselves on providing timely, efficient delivery service to our members. Your delivery day will be based upon your zip code. If your zip code is not listed, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Due to the rising cost of fuel, each delivery will be charged a $6.50 to $10.00 fuel surcharge depending on the zip code. Remember - you have the option to avoid this surcharge by picking up your produce each week at the farm on Thursdays from 2:00-7:00 pm during the season! Tuesday Deliveries

Share Substitution/Modification ScheduleAs you may have read on our “How It Works” page, you now have the ability to completely customize your weekly delivery, or even to cancel a given delivery. Here are the details on how that works.
If you receive a TUESDAY DELIVERY: You will have from 2:00am Friday till 2:00am Sunday before your delivery to modify the contents of your delivery, or cancel that week’s delivery. If you receive a WEDNESDAY DELIVERY: You will have from 2:00am Saturday till 2:00am Monday before your delivery to modify the contents of your delivery, or cancel that week’s delivery. If you receive a THURSDAY DELIVERY: You will have from 2:00am Sunday till 2:00am Tuesday before your delivery to modify the contents of your delivery, or cancel that week’s delivery. If you receive a FRIDAY DELIVERY: You will have from 2:00am Monday till 2:00am Wednesday before your delivery to modify the contents of your delivery, or cancel that week’s delivery. |
